- threading/locking consistency/correcteness checker
(much like the Linux kernel has, but VLC is simpler has it does not have
interrupts)
- MTP service discovery
- easy/automatic streaming on the LAN (like other people can see that
you're playing something and request to see the same)
- UPnP/AV output
- secure streaming
