the whitespace problem is in master branch I think, so my patch removed some
unecessary spaces in two empty lines .

VLC VOD is hard to understand, not very well documented, and not fully
implemented (works only with telnet or http interface). Is that what you mean ?
But when it is launched, it works well for me. So I see no reason not to add it
in libvlc_vlm.
