[vlc-devel] RTMP playback

Hi,

I've been trying to test RTMP playback with a video link from the New
York Times homepage and couldn't get it to start in VLC (it's stuck at
pre-buffering). Is this due to the bit of code that wasn't considered
good and was removed (and needs to be put back with some rework before
we release? :p).

For the curious, the URL I tested with is:
rtmp://flv.world.mii-streaming.net/nytimes/flash/t_assets/20080604/1501990898518641fe6848d57a58d26bcfb07c11.flv
