Note that this commit removes support for older Xcode releases than  
version 2.2. However, Xcode 2.4.1 should be the oldest working release  
to build VLC anyway.
Upgrading to a non-jam-based target was necessary for years now and  
doesn't have any drawbacks. Please have a look at the packaging speed- 
up ;)
