[vlc-devel] cdda causing Access Violation

When attempting to call play after passing cdda://<device> as the  
media the following exception occurs:

Unhandled exception at 0x65cc1e1f in Marx Media Player v2.exe:  
0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x00000000.

I have noticed a similar situation in VLC, only the CD will then be read:

File reading failed:
VLC could not open the file "?\?v4?"".
Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL '?\?v4?"'. Check the log for details.
