It works. But now there seems to be some odd messages such as:
[00000360] main generic debug: Filter '(null)' (0xa028024) appended to chain

[00000360] main generic error: Failed to create video filter '(null)'

Not sure if/why it actually prints NULL, but that is undefined on some 
platforms (at least Solaris is known to crash when %s matches NULL).
