how about integrating QTVR playing capabilities into VLC? after GSoC 
2007 FreePV is in best shape than ever. I could help a little bit from 
the VR authoring point of view with some analysis, e.g. of the 
interactivity needed, but my personal involvement in GSoC 2008 will be
