[vlc-devel] SoC : a project idea

Hello,

I am a French student, and I'd like to participate to the SoC 2008 in
VideoLan. Recently, I saw this nice framework :

It is a framework that implements the MPEG-4 norm, but not only the
compression algorithm. There are some nice features like media
objects, VRML, and a structure using XML to describe the content. I
think bringing it to VLC could be a good GSoC project, with a lot of
fun and hard work :)

What do you think about it?

However, I looked at the other ideas proposed, and I could apply for
the QuickTime VR playing, the Windows CE port or SVCD handling.
