That fixes it for me.

Additionally I was getting an automake (version 1.10) error about
autotools/config.rpath not found. That is fixable with either `touch
autotools/config.rpath` before running automake in ./boostrap or
adding "foreign" to the AUTOMAKE_OPTIONS list in Makefile.am.
