Hi,

This has no relation with feature freeze, but note that VLC 1.0.0-git
isn't even close to be releasable on Mac OS X. This is because most
system calls in Mac OS X 10.5 are not cancelable via pthread_cancel().
This makes VLC unusable on this platform.

Pierre.
