[vlc-devel] Obtaining time stamp of a video frame/package

Hi all,

I'm writing an application that uses libVLC library. I will receive a video
stream from a remote computer running a simulation. During the simulation
run on the remote PC, there are some events being triggered and the
triggering time stamps are recorded and sent back to the receiving PC
together (separately) with the video stream to process. I need to
synchronize those event time stamps with the receiving video frames. Is
there any way to extract time stamp for each original video frame, or at
least for a receiving data package? Any pointer to the VLC source code?
