[vlc-devel] maybe bug?

first i want to write big THANKS for vlc
im using it on all computers, advising if for all my friends working 
with media..
but i saw somewhere new version of vlc, maybe it is not so minimalistic 
and it was working in very mysterious way

i dont know where to write about this, but i think, you know about it
vlc cant open subtitles if folder with video and subtitles is in path 
with some special characters e.g space "(" some interpunction.. im using 
autodetection fuzinness 4 but same with others

im using ubuntu hardy
and VLC media player 0.8.6e Janus (wxWidgets interface)

i also have 4 u maybe one small idea to improve vlc.. everybody wants to 
watch film with vlc on fullscreen, but sometimes is better if you have 
fullscreen, but little smaller video(maybe 1:1) on black background. i 
dont know if this is possible here..
