[vlc-devel] mkv question

Hi all,

I am having trouble compiling with '--enable-mkv' option on cygwing/winxp. I
searched through forum but could not find answers to my question.

could you tell me,
-which contribs I should be using (currently 0811)
-gcc version (3.4.4)
-mingw version if relevant.

Do I need to install never mkv package to make it work ?
