[vlc-devel] git clone http://repo.or.cz/r/vlc.git fails

Maybe it is a limitation of my Cygwin-Git, because it fails with different objects every time it runs.  For the last try I looked
for the object manually under http://repo.or.cz/r/vlc.git/objects - and it was there.  So probably this is not a case of a missing
git-update-server-info - but I didn't try it with another machine or another git yet.

My workaround is an ssh port forwarding and using the git protocol with repo.or.cz.

Does git clone git://git.videolan.org/vlc.git work any better?
