[vlc-devel] translation related - a drop down menu possible locked in English

In preferences (simple mode), Input & Codecs, there is the Caching
area, Default caching level, which has six options in the drop down
menu. These options are always in English, inspite the fact that they
exist in the .pot file and are already translated.

It seems to me that the problem is real, I mean I am quite sure it is
not a local caching issue with remaining strings in current session's
memory.

(other than that it seems strange to me that "Custom" position with no
place to specify a custom something)
