Hello,

Leslie Hawthorn is asking all the students to submit their proposal
via the website as fast as possible:

  "Please help us get an accurate sense of how many proposals will be
  submitted for GSoC 2009 by asking your students to submit their
  proposals to the GSoC 2009 site *now*. They are welcome to link to the
  wiki page, mailing list thread, forum topic, etc. where their
  proposals are under discussion and refinement as part of the proposal
  submission process."

You can submit a proposal even if it is not finished yet, and work on
improving it after. You can modify afterwards.
You can submit a proposal even if you haven't done the qualification
task. You can submit task until the 15th of April.

We have not many students so far, so it will means less slots for us...

Btw, all admins and developers should apply as mentors (even if they
don't want to mentor a kid) http://socghop.appspot.com/
