I've just done some general tests after got the fresh latest 
vlc-1.0.0-git build.
I've only found 2 problems but 1 probably not related to this commit,
1, I've already reported in previous email during installing a dll.
2, mkv problem ticket https://trac.videolan.org/vlc/ticket/2652
