[vlc-devel] Any feedbacks/tests around E-AC-3 support?

Hi,

I have seen E-AC-3 audio codec support (from FFmpeg I guess) in the NEWS
file of 1.0.0-pre2. I wonder to know if someone have tested it, if there
were some feedbacks.

>From my side, I have been given two video files with eac3 audio and I
have not yet found any piece of software to read it. I have no error,
eac3 detected but zero sound (hope it is not bogus video files).
