For example: you can easily flatten down a tree into a list, but if you have
a tree like this:
-a
----a1
----a2
-b
-c
...and you the user wants to move !*in the flat view*! of this tree the c
item just after the a2 item, where does it go? does it go into a, on the
same level as a1 and a2? Or does it go just before b at the top level?
