[vlc-devel] Cross-compiling vlc-1.0.3 Error

If you have internet access through a proxy you can succeed (I did !)

in ~/.gitconfig
[http]
        proxy = your_proxy:your_port

Then you can use: 
git clone http://repo.or.cz/r/x264.git

I tryed to use Git but it seems that i am behind a firewall that block me and let me get below error

i googled and other says this should be a firewall blocking you, and i also recognized that there is daily snapshots for the code.

i used this URL "ftp://ftp.videolan.org/pub/videolan/vlc/" but i can not find any snapshoot for the version you mentioned "1.1"

Please could you tell me another way to get this version? or could you send (tarred) it to me, using my e-mail ? or could you help me to work around my firewall?
