Hello

A few days ago I did send a message to the list about a WMV with 3 video
track and 23 audio track.

I did upload a few other sample of what the European Parliament generate (or
can generate in the case of 3V+23A MP4 files).
Since all of those file can be played without too much problem on VLC...
they are only of interest to verify that there is no regression.

All those file have been deposit on
ftp://streams.videolan.org/upload/uploads here is the list:
1V+1A=VODUnit_20091217_09010500_09021500_FR.mp4 : MPEG4 H.264 with 1 video
track and 1 audio track + hinting
1V+23A=VODUnit_20091217_09010800_09021200.mp4 : MPEG4 H.264 with 1 video
track and 23 audio track (22 interpretations) + hinting
3V+1A=VODUnit_20091217_09010500_09021500_FR.mp4 : MPEG4 H.264 with 3 video
bitrate and one French audio track + hinting
3V+23A=VODUnit_20091217_09010800_09021200.mp4 : MPEG4 H.264 with 3 video
bitrate and 23 audio track (22 interpretations) + hinting
3V+23A=VODUnit_20091217_09010800_09021200.wmv : WMV with 3 video bitrate and
23 audio track (22 interpretations)

All the file that start with "3V*" display the same bug on VLC... all the
video are displayed simultaniously.
I consider this a bug since both in WMV and MP4 it is explicitly specify in
the file that the video track exclude each other.

All the *.mp4 file might be interesting as they contain hinting track (that
is what is needed by a streaming server that knows nothing about the codec
to be able to stream it and cut the stream in packet).
All the *+23A* file might be of interest as they contain many audio track
and it can be a challenge for the user interface or playing them.

I will also try to contact the vlmc author to see if they can give those
multi-audio track file a try.
I see a lot of VIP potential user that could be introduced to VLMC and/or
Free Software if those tools permit them to see and modify those file.

Thanks in advance for having a look.
