It does NOT. The test suite fails. Worse, the test suite fails
pseudo-randomly. The API is riddled with dead locks and race
conditions.

Maybe, just maybe, the contribs are not maintained on MacOS. Oh yeah,
MacOS does not ship those libraries. Oops.
And I do read the Ubuntu crash reports.

A laughable statement considering that make check fails to this day.
