If you have time and money to spend on fighting them off, you're most
welcome.

* Go to their website, then
* Get the software (you may have to pay for this), then
* Send an official letter asking for source code, then
* Sue.

and/or:

* File complaints with to Google Ads.

It would surely help you or one of your relatives knows about legal
stuff... (My parents did study law but they really have more interesting
ways to spend their free time.) Better yet hire a lawyer. Then you can
probably convince some developers to be represented by that lawyer to
defend their copyrights.

Personally, I have better things to do with my time and money than fight
that sort of guys. In fact, I am more interested in getting GPL compliance
from companies who publish modified versions of VLC, or derivative of
LibVLC.
