[vlc-devel] .plan for VLC 1.0.0

Hello fellow geeks and hackers,

1.1 is already getting some nice attention, but we have to deal with
1.0 release.

1.0 is already way nicer than 0.9.9 and some part of 0.8.6x.

But bugs are difficult to get killed now, and we could wait for a long
time to have a fix.

Therefore, I suggest that we tag the release next friday (12th) and make
the release on the sunday or monday.

I'll post a usual list of boring bugs soon.

Any objections?
