This is a project I really want to see working (for personnal reasons), I
hope someone will be able to make it.

You should look at the mp4/mov demuxer (modules/demux/mp4) and work to detect pano content
in the files.
You will probably need to do an decoder (modules/codec/...) based on
libfreepv in order to display the pano.

Finally, interactivity should be dealt with, but this will be after :D

Anyway, if you work on this, you will have a co-mentoring between freePV
(Yuval, probably) and VideoLAN.
