Once again: VLC should not be making *any* changes to the released 
"LIVE555 Streaming Media" code.  If there are any issues with this 
code that you feel require it to be patched before it's used with 
VLC, then *please* raise these issues on the 
"live-devel at lists.live555.com" mailing list (see 
<http://lists.live555.com/mailman/listinfo/live-devel/> to 
subscribe), so that we can make appropriate changes to future 
versions of the released code, so that you don't have to patch it 
yourself.
