[vlc-devel] http authentication on client side

hi,

I use sout-http-user and sout-http-pwd to get an authentication to get  
access my streams.
Result works fine, but I don't undertand why when you display the  
authentication box, you write the "username" (domain), in that case,  
what the interest to ask username whereas you give it ??? Maybe the  
server reply is not ok, it should not send username to the client.
