Hello *,
As promised, a short list of important issues, that are still present:
- Seeking forward can get you backward...
- Frame-by-Frame can lead often to crashes (not using TS)
- A playlist bug that makes deleting last object not stop playback
(#2720, regression)
- H264 decoding (#2617 regression, #2661)
- Screenshot doesn't keep AR (#2705, regression)
- Various MMS issues (#2673, #2674, #2677) I am not sure if all are
blockers, maybe 2673...
- Seeking with avformat... (#1837) this is a bit of an issue for MXF.
- Various muxing issues (Do we have a working muxer, beside TS and PS ???
Avi is broken, MP4 is too? #2715, ogg?)
- Deinterlacing doesn't seem to be applied when encoding [#2714, if
someone could confirm...)
- OS X prefs, broken, once again (#2771) but probably easy to fix
- Qt issues wrt selecting items (I'll do it)
- Qt issues with always on top (#2763 and #2745, I'll do it)
- Qt & DVD Chapters...
- Win32 specific issues
- fontconfig...
- workaround a Qt bug #2647
- zip issue #2467
- Qt fullscreen controller under the taskbar (anyone has ANY idea of why is that?) )
Finally, many people complain about some DVD issues, and reverting to
0.8.6i fixed them, but I failed to reproduce, so far.
So, not many issues, (except some of the first listed ones) and we
should be able to cope with those if everyone just picks one and tries
to fix it...
I suggest a RC2 tommorrow.
Maybe we should stop merging things, but just backporting from master
again...
Best Regards,
