This package solves the linking problems against libx264 on PPC-based  
Macs btw. [1] Additionally, it includes the latest revision of ffmpeg  
(fixing the MMX playback crashes).

[1] By compiling all libraries but libx264 with llvm-gcc-4.2, while  
this single library wants GCC 4.0.1.
