[vlc-devel] 1.0.0-rc2 Compile for Slackware64

Hello VLC devs,
 i am trying to compile 1.0.0-rc2 on a freshly installed Slackware64. So far
contribs are compiled successfully after making the changes in the patch
attached. I am not sure it is the right way to list x86_64 arch, but it let me
compile all contribs without errors.

P.S. wouldn't it be better to change ARCH=i386 to ARCH=i686 for the 32bit
linux builds, as vlc will probably never run on such old hardware, while it
may speed-up the things a bit?
