[vlc-devel] alsa-lib 1.0.22???

Hi, could someone please explain why that error message:

*VLC failed to re-open your sound card*

*Please update alsa-lib to version 1.0.22 or higher to fix this issue*


There is no alsa-lib 1.0.22 out, neither stable release, nor the latest
snapshots. Latest is 1.0.21.XXX.

Or does that version simply refer to alsa git repo?
