[vlc-devel] Cant open x264 raw files in vlc in Ubuntu version 9.04

Hello, i am working with the raw video encoded with X264 with extension
.264, and i try to open the files locally in my machine with Ubuntu but i
am not able to do it
I have tried the last version of the repositories 0.99 and i get a
segmentation fault when trying to play these gils.
I also used the source code of the versions 0.9.10 and 0.9.4 of vlc, i
configured them, compiled and installed the solution. But also when i try
to run this files, VLC is unable do do it. In this cases running vlc -vv,
i obtain the error: vlc: misc/messages.c:249: QueueMsg: Afirmation
"p_this" failed.
In Windows with the last version 1.0.3 i cant open these files but i can
stream them, and with the version 0.9.4 i am able to open them locally and
to stream them with the live Media Server.
In Ubuntu i am not able still to get this, neither to open locally neither
to stream.
By the way i am using Ubuntu inside the Virtual Box of Windows
Can someone help to me to solve this issue
