[vlc-devel] RTP mux CPU usage

As someone pointed out in forums, if I start VLC with following command
vlc "Shutter Island (Theatrical Trailer 2).mp4" --sout=#rtp{mux=ts,dst=127.0.0.1}

(the MP4 video can be downloaded from http://www.megaupload.com/?d=MPBUNCHB )

the CPU usage of my Dual Core AMD (Turion X2 TL-56) goes to 40-60 percent. To me that sounds WAY too high for simple muxing and streaming or am I missing something here?

Tested with VLC 1.0.2 under Win32.
