So 1.0.4 will be unable to talk to itself and/or any previous version??
Have you ever considered the firewalls argument from my last mail?

5004 is no better than 1234, both are even ports as required by the standard.

The only outcome of this commit is that it breaks people's setups and
creates yet another rush for "don't use RTP - it sucks, use UDP instead"
