First, MMS really meant 'MMSH', not the actual Microsoft Media Server legacy 
protocol. Second, MMS unfortunately is _most_ widely known as the accronym of 
another streaming protocol, Multimedia Messaging Service.

Invert MMSH and WMSP if you want, but MMS was just wrong.
