Is it necessary (i.e. it doesn't work without it on any other platform)
or just optional?
If optional, I'd suggest not to mess with it, as there might be some
corner cases - e.g. "/" changed to "". The fact that libdvdnav doesn't
accept trailing backslash on win32 seems more like a bug to me, as
cd c:\windows\ definitely works on win32 systems.
BTW, libdvdnav still seems to use the ANSI functions and not Unicode ones
on Win32 :-(
