I retrieved code from Git and compiled on my fedora11. But I observed
that buffering issue is still getting reproduce with 1.1.0-git version
of vlc.
Following is vlc configuration I build from git.
libvlc configuration
--------------------
version : 1.1.0-git
system : linux
architecture : i686 mmx sse sse2
build flavour : debug devel
vlc aliases : cvlc rvlc svlc qvlc
plugins/bindings :
And following is vlc version on which issue is reproduced.
[user at EICPU3141 ~]$ vlc --version
VLC media player 1.1.0-git Yellow Bastard
VLC version 1.1.0-git Yellow Bastard (1.0.0-rc1-2822-gacb349a)
Compiled by rahul at localhost.localdomain
Compiler: gcc version 4.4.1 20090725 (Red Hat 4.4.1-2) (GCC) Rahul Patel
Attached herewith is vlc -vvv log for your reference.
I did following sequence.
- Start play from RTSP
- did forward side seek on 90 seconds (worked properly)
- did backward side seek on 45 seconds (worked properly)
- did backward side seek on 25 seconds (got stucked after buffering 0%
in this case)
Is it issue with vlc buffering or is there any rtp timestamp related
issue from server side?
Let me know if you want me to change anything from server side in order
to debug issue in more detail.
Looking forward to your kind reply.
