Hello,

I'm using Ubuntu 9.10

VLC package version 1.0.3-1~ppa1 from
"http://ppa.launchpad.net/c-korn/vlc/ubuntu karmic main" repository

libass package version 0.9.6-1ubuntu1~ppa4

I didn't even have a chance to disable subtitles. VLC crashes
immediately after opening the movie.

Best regards
