[vlc-devel] [PATCH 5/5] Remove OJI code

Hi,

I'm new here, but I wanted to see if I could help improve the aesthetic
quality of VLC. I love VLC and use it regularly, but the only gripe I have
with it is that the UI could be much improved. If the VLC UI looked and
operated more like Quicktime X (10.0) on Mac (which I find to be a very
beautiful and intuitive interface), it would not only look much better, but
it might attract more users too.

So my question is, what are your thoughts on improving the VLC UI,
specifically the following:

1. Getting rid of the separate controller window
2. Removing the title bar and status bar on video windows
3. Making playback controls appear on video windows on hover-over

If you guys are interested in incorporating the above features, I would love
to help implement the new interface.
