[vlc-devel] Default video output for Linux/Ubuntu

No. Based on OS I use for java bindings I do not use directx.
Right now jre crashes using vlc 1.1 or 1.2 so for Linux. I may have to give up on 1.1 or 1.2 with java since I get assertion errors where as for 1.0.6 everything works great with the jre 1.6.0_18. I need to find a 1.0.6 build with so libs for Linux.Ubuntu.
