Indeed. I tried to hack po/Makefile.in.in but didn't reach any solution.
Either it's not doable because there is too much assumption in the whole
gettext/autoconf/automake on the way it's suppose to work  or i'm crap
at Makefile. My current thinking is that the clean way to fix it is to
write a ui backend for xgettext and submit it upstream.

In the meantime, I have a local versio of POTFILES.in with the .h
generated from the .ui. I could commit it with this .h commented for
people wanting to regenerate a full vlc.pot
