[vlc-devel] Q: HTTP client inside VLC?

Dear all,
I would like to use (a modified version of) VLC to do some  
experiments.  In my experiments I need to interface with an HTTP  
server.  My really simple question (before I dive in the source code)  
is: does VLC already have an HTTP client built-in or do I need to  
write it?
