Found my problem.
These particular subtitles used a very white color, and there was an
overflow which would wrap bright white back to black, shading the
text. Those subs now appear correctly. It also explains why all other
subs were appearing just fine, as these did not trigger the overflow.
So previous patch to restore unpremultiplying should be applied, and
this one on top.
