Please help me to undestand and fix the errors I get when accessing rtsp

I have built vlc 1.04 for Ubuntu with the following config

./configure --prefix=/host/Users/user/Documents/VLC --enable-x11
--enable-xvideo --disable-gtk --enable-sdl --enable-avcodec
--enable-avformat --enable-swscale --enable-mad --enable-libdvbpsi
--enable-a52 --enable-libmpeg2 --enable-dvdnav --enable-faad --enable-vorbis
--enable-ogg --enable-theora --enable-faac --enable-mkv --enable-freetype
--enable-fribidi --enable-speex --enable-flac --enable-live555
--enable-caca --enable-skins --enable-skins2 --enable-alsa --disable-kde
--enable-qt4 --enable-ncurses --enable-debug --disable-optimization
--enable-realrtsp

When I run the rebuilt vlc to access rtsp media I get the following errors

[0x907fea0] live555 demux error: Failed to connect with
rtsp://media.Iscube.org:554/tests/tc.mov
[0x907c840] main access error: cannot resolve media.Iscube.org port 554 :

connect to media.Iscube.org:554 [0xb7400ae0] main input error: open of
`rtsp://media.Iscube.org:554/tests/tc.mov' failed: (null)

Thank you in advance for your help,
Waiting for your kind reply

Please help me to undestand the error I get when accessing
rtsp://media.lscube.org:554/tests/tc.mov

I am using vlc 1.04 under Ubuntu, and when I try to render by accessing the
network the mrl rtsp://media.lscube.org:554/tests/tc.mov I get the error VLC
cannot open this mrl.

The same test with vlc 1.03 under Windows xp does work perfectly.

Thank you in advance for your help,
Waiting for your kind reply
