[vlc-devel] [RFC] Slimming LibVLC down

	Hello,

I would like to remove the legacy mediacontrol APIs from LibVLC 1.1. People 
have had time to switch to the new one (or it's not our problem anymore), and 
I am getting tired of having to hack it every time LibVLC is changed.

I would also like to remove the media views. This is a mess.

Unless I see motivated objections, I will proceed to remove them later next 
week.
