Same for PPC. There is no way to access VLC's native updater from within the GUI anymore...

BTW. How will we integrate the Sparkle updater within the Qt4 interface btw.? Is there a way non-hackish way to access a Cocoa-like interface within Qt (meaning without creating a special ObjC++ file)?
