Yes, this is indeed a bug in the LIVE555 RTSP client code: It 
currently does not handle "Content-length" headers for failed 
responses.

This will be fixed someday.  Until then, I suggest modifying your 
server code to "be conservative in what it sends" by not including 
extra stuff in failed responses.
