[vlc-devel] Summer of code 2010

Hello,

I am trying for a SOC project with VLC this summer. I have some experience
with Symbian S60 programming so I am thinking about "Port VLC to Symbian"
project title.

I read about some progress in this field done by Mahaserver team, and their
prerelease *MHSVLC*. But the project seems to be active no more, and the
port produced by them is still very basic and partially functional. Are
there any other developments in the field and what may be expectations from
a summer project if taken up.

Also please tell me about the main bottle necks which are or likely to be
encountered while doing the job.
