I read the source code for a day or so and found that the Windows version of vlc creates a window very early in its initialization via the Winmain() function (bin/winvlc.c). Also from the vlc source code, it's clear that in *nix, the cvlc bash script calls the vlc binary with a dummy interface as its parameter. Is it possible to implement something like this dummy interface for the Windows version of vlc?Any hints will be very helpful. Thanks in advance. -Darmawan
Did you try vlc.exe -Idummy on Windows?
