You wouldn't have to do it because the error can't be triggered as the index 
is only at the end of the file (according to opendml), and there's none on 
live streams :)

Anyway, a short test/confirmation is faster than diving into the code logic to 
see if the AVI files repair trigger some special 'repair' function outside of 
the demuxer you mentioned.
